PROBLEM: Help people understand how cool webhooks are.
PROBLEM: Find out when there’s new content on a site.
SOLUTION: Put a webhook into the site’s search indexing tool – SOLR.
SOLUTION: Custom SOLR Token Filter.
The code, while JAVA and therefore evil, is trivial.
WHY?
Every cool web app (sooner or later) has some cool content in it. So you add a search engine. When your users want to build mashups with that content, you add webhooks to that engine. And you’re done.

I have selected pretty much all i can in terms of downloading the various versions, however nothing seems to be installed. It says i'm using Linux x86. are there any further steps i need to take cos i'm pretty stuck!

just install it, and when you are im with a friend click on cam,it will only work with one person, cause i have used it like that in the past, it just allows that one person.. it'a not like with yahoo im anyone can see up to like 30 people i think..

Once you register a webhook url with Shopify we will issue a HTTP Post to the url specified and pass on the Order as an XML document. Don't worry, if your server is down we will simply try again until your server confirms to us that it has successfully received the notification.
